UNION BOSSES SUING UNION MEMBERS

Do you mean instead of beating them up in an alley or stuffing them into the trunk of a car for a late night dip in the lake?

Who even does that? Sues their own card-carrying and dues-paying members?

SPFPA (International Union, Security, Police, and Fire Professionals of America. That’s who.

Who pays for the lawsuits?

It comes out of everybody’s union dues.

Each member, each pay period, pays lawyers to silence their own brothers and sisters of the union through the legal system by filing frivilous lawsuits to deal with malcontented members.

But why?

Apparently to strike terror into the hearts and minds of those members whom the union bosses want to control, and by association all other members.

Does it work? Yeah.

How do they get away it?

I don’t know.

Do you think the government sanctions it?

I don’t know. They’re a dot org.

Do you think the government actually foots the bill?

I don’t know. That would look pretty bad if they did.
